Born June 22, 1964 in Exeter, New Hampshire, Dan Brown is a graduate of Phillips Exeter Academy. He received his B.A. in English from Amherst College.

Dan is interested in cryptography, keys, and codes which are a recurring theme in his books.

His book titles include Digital Fortress, Angels & Demons, Deception Point, and The Da Vinci Code.

His books have been translated into more than 40 languages.
